I’m off to eat now. Ginny made something that smells delicious and I can bet that it tastes even better!

It’s been a while… been kind of lazy in the “blog” department. I got some new web hosting (www.hostmonster.com) and got mine and ginny’s sites transferred over. I’ve got a mobile version of both our blogs up that uses the wptouch plugin to check what you’re viewing the site on. If you’re using an iPhone or iPod or possibly even a crackberry (I don’t have one so I can’t check it), you’ll see a minimalized version of the site. Pretty spiffy.

Also, I’m still training for the marathon that’s this sunday. I’m kind of bummed that Dugle had to bail, so I’m stuck running it “by myself” with 40,000 other people. I should still be ok though… I feel like I’ve trained a LOT better than the one I ran in 2002. I’ve followed a training schedule from www.halhigdon.com and have been doing ok for the most part. I’ve even run the 20 mile run!!! I have had some aches and pains along the way though… shin splints, knee pains, hamstring issues, tight calves, etc. Today I saw Julie Francis (Francis Physical Therapy… site coming soon I hope!) and she did some stuff for my knee-cap on my left knee. I ran 3 miles tonight with it taped and it felt much better.

Also, I started my new job over in IT a few weeks ago. It was sad to leave advancement because I loved working on the www.greenville.edu website, but the change was needed. I am enjoying my new work environment and feel good about my decision.

Before I left advancement, I began doing research for our new CMS. Joomla! has been great, but it just doesn’t have the power we needed. I did a lot of extensive research on dotCMS (www.dotcms.org) and have really fallen in love with it (even though it is Java based.)
Welp, I’m tired. Goodnight!
