I’m a posting monster today.  Free taco from taco bell now… because Jason Bartlett stole 2nd base.  So yeah… October 28th… free taco!!!

Just ran for the first time since the marathon.  Definitely felt like I haven’t run in over a week.  Legs felt heavy, breathing was a little tough… but overall I felt ok.  My knee did start to get a bit sore about 1.5 miles in.  I walked a bit once I was done… we’ll see how that goes.  Didn’t really care about time (and I forgot my watch at work), but I was at about 17:50 for about 2.1 miles.  We’ll see how I feel tomorrow morning and go from there.

Back in March, Dr. Pepper said they’d give everyone in America a free Dr. Pepper if Guns-n-Roses were to release Chinese Democracy sometime in 2008.  As I was driving back to work after lunch, I heard the title track on KSHE 95.  It sounded kinda bleh though.  I remember the guitar sounding good, with some shredding going on… but the vocals were heavily distorted and had lots of effects added to it.  I’d think that 13 years of work would have sounded a little better.  Consider me a little disappointed.

A free Dr. Pepper will make it all better though.
